Rainy fall days in Little Cottonwood Canyon have a magic all their own, and photographing this intimate wedding at Alta Peruvian Lodge was an absolute dream. As a Utah wedding photographer, I love capturing couples who embrace every moment, rain or shine! This beautiful fall wedding proved that a little rain can actually make the colors pop and create unforgettable memories.
Although the sky was cloudy all day, the rain held off during the most important moments, allowing the couple to exchange vows surrounded by fall leaves and misty canyon views. After the ceremony, the couple and their guests retreated to the cozy lodge as the rain poured outside, enjoying an intimate dinner filled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, and plenty of dancing into the night. The soft, rainy light, combined with the warm lodge atmosphere, made for a day full of emotion, beauty, and unforgettable moments that I feel so lucky to have captured!
