Big Cottonwood Canyon Wedding Portraits | Utah Mountain Wedding | Eliese & Reese

June 24, 2025

Some weddings hold an extra layer of meaning, and Eliese and Reese’s day was one of those for me. I’ve known Eliese since she was a little girl, so being trusted to photograph her wedding day was an incredible honor and something I will always hold close to my heart.

Their wedding portraits in Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah took place in June, when the mountains are at their absolute peak. Big Cottonwood Canyon is one of my favorite locations for Utah mountain wedding photography, and on this day it couldn’t have been more perfect. The pines, soft light, and sweeping canyon views created a timeless, elevated setting for their portraits.

Eliese and Reese are undeniably, deeply in love. From the moment we started, they were completely wrapped up in each other! Giddy, laughing, and barely able to stop smiling. Their joy was contagious, and photographing them felt effortless. Every glance, every giggle, and every quiet moment together told the story of two people who were counting down the seconds until they could finally say “I do.”

Eliese’s bouquet was full of vibrant color, a beautiful contrast against the rich greens of the mountains. It added the perfect editorial touch! Romantic, joyful, and thoughtfully designed to complement the natural beauty of Big Cottonwood Canyon.

These Utah wedding portraits are some that truly stay with me. They bring me so much happiness every time I look back on them. Not just because of how beautiful the setting was, but because of the love, history, and genuine connection behind them.

Photographing Eliese and Reese in one of Utah’s most stunning mountain locations was an absolute joy, and it was an honor to be part of such a meaningful chapter in their story.
