There are some sessions that feel a little extra special, and Kylie and Payton’s Alta engagement session is definitely one of them. 🤍
Kylie and Payton traveled all the way from St. George, Utah to Alta for their engagement photos, and somehow they managed to make the trip even more special by doing it on Kylie’s birthday! We spent the evening exploring one of my absolute favorite spots up Little Cottonwood Canyon, surrounded by the beautiful Utah mountains.

Alta and Little Cottonwood Canyon are two of my favorite places for engagement sessions in Utah. The mountain views, rocky peaks, pine trees, and gorgeous light make it such a beautiful backdrop for couples who want their engagement photos to feel natural and adventurous.
And while I love photographing couples here, this session was especially meaningful to me because I have known Kylie since she was born. Her sister is one of my best friends, so getting to photograph this season of Kylie’s life and celebrate her and Payton together feels pretty surreal!
It’s one of those reminders of why I love what I do so much. I get to photograph so many beautiful couples, but sometimes I also get to document the people and families I’ve known for years. Those sessions always hold a little extra place in my heart.
